REFUND AND RETURN POLICY.

Welcome to International Dance Supplies Ltd.’s “idsdance.com” website (the “Site”). This Refund and Return Policy incorporates our Terms of Service, as if it was fully recited herein and any capitalized terms not defined below will inherit their definition from Terms of Service. We value your interest in and support of IDS and wish to make certain that you are completely satisfied with the product/garment(s) you have chosen to purchase. Under this policy, you must return the product/garment(s)  purchased for a refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling, deductions as per the below guidelines.

To keep our return process efficient, our knowledgeable staff is here to help in any way possible.  If you're unsure if the purchased product/garment(s) qualifies for a refund, or if you have any questions or concerns about the return process or about any of the information listed here please feel free to contact us at customerservices@idsdance.com.

INITIATING RETURNS: Contact at customerservices@idsdance.com. Be sure to include the following:

  1. Your contact information.
  2. Your order ID and date of purchase.
  3. The reason for return. If the product/garment(s) was damaged during shipment to you, include that information when you contact us and before returning the item.
  4. Whether you would like a replacement item or a refund.
  5. If you are returning product/garment(s) from outside of the U.S.

TIMING OF RETURN: Returns are only accepted if received by IDS within 30 days of the invoice date of the applicable product/garment(s) (some exceptions apply please see IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING CERTAIN TYPES OF PRODUCT/GARMENTS).

CONDITION/CONTENTS OF RETURN: In order to assure you get a full refund, product/garment(s) must be returned unused and securely in original packaging along with any and all other items that were included in the original packaging. Please also provide any original invoices or statements. 

  1. Please phone (1-866-939-8909) or email us for a return authorization number first, along with details of where to ship return.
  2. We are unable to accept returns with damaged or missing packaging materials, or items that show any signs of use, damage, or wear, by the customer including but not limited to: tears, stains, discoloration, scuffs, stretching, fraying, or any other signs that the product/garment(s) has been used in any way. 
  3. Product/garment(s) which have been returned with missing packaging, instructions, tags, etc., will result, in our sole discretion, in a deduction from the refund issued or rejection of any refund entirely.

SHIPPING/INSURANCE/COSTS/TRACKING: The returned package must be prepaid and insured at your expense. 

  1. If you choose not to insure the shipment, you accept the risk of loss or damage during the shipment. 
  2. Please mark any damage or faults to the original product/garment with sticky tape to identify the problem.
  3. Do not use the product/garment(s)'s package as the shipping container. We recommend using the same or similar envelope or box that the item was shipped to you in.
  4. IDS is not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during shipping.
  5. IDS encourages you to use a courier service that provides some kind of tracking number or service. In the event that you do so, you shall be responsible for providing IDS with a tracking number, when it becomes available to you.
  6. Any packages shipped C.O.D. or money due upon delivery may, in our sole discretion, be rejected and returned back to the customer or sender.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING CERTAIN TYPES OF PRODUCTS/GARMENTS:

  1. Please note that garments which are not regular stock items (i.e. garments with personalized print or other designs), will not be accepted back for credit.
  2. We do not accept returns for costumes
  3. For reasons of hygiene we are unable to exchange or credit hats, wigs or underwear even if returned unworn.
  4. Tights may not be returned once opened unless they are faulty were damaged.
  5. Any content media, including CDs, DVDs are also expressly non-returnable.

OTHER RETURN/REFUND TERMS:

  1. All returns will be processed by our returns team who will inspect, refund, credit or exchange your return, depending on the situation. Anything that is used or damaged will be returned to the customer, at IDS’s sole discretion.
  2. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment source.
  3. If your original source of payment is no longer valid, please contact us before you start the returns process.
  4. For credit cards that have expired or accounts that have been closed, refund checks will be issued to the billing address on your account.
  5. Any fees, taxes, duties, or shipping fees are non-refundable.
  6. Please be aware that returned items may take approximately 28 days or more to be processed.
  7. As the items will be coming back to the UK please clearly mark on the outside of the box ‘Goods being returned to the UK’.  Any customs charges incurred by IDS Ltd due to a parcel not being clearly marked, will be passed on and deducted from the corresponding credit.
